Wire Teardrop Earrings with Jade
Each of these earrings is formed using a single, unbroken silver wire and an 8mm spherical bead of jade.
The ‘Unbroken’ collection has architectural connotations in the shapes used and various stone beads that have been incorporated. All of the stones display multiple colours in patches, lines, gradients and irregular shapes, giving the illusion of a surface texture with depth. This organic appearance, encapsulated within the confines of a small polished bead, reminds us that stones were created as part of the earth, and while we often associate stone with human construction, the architecture we build with them is simply nature, rearranged.
