Copper Wire Sheet Circle Ring With Full Bevelled Edge
The copper circle on this ring, which measures 16mm in diameter, is cut from a thick version of my signature wire sheet. The 2mm copper wires that formed the sheet are joined with silver solder resulting in small silver veins in each dip and a sort of pinstripe effect.
The edge of the circle is bevelled all the way round which brings the cross-section of the wire sheet into view, creating a border of smooth curved ovals.
Completing the ring is a brushed finish, sterling silver band that is 5mm wide.
The ring in the photograph has a natural copper finish, but it can also be given an oxidised finish which blackens the copper.
As with all of my jewellery, it will come beautifully presented in a gift box which includes a small polishing cloth and an anti-tarnish square, making it the perfect gift for a loved one, or a well-deserved treat to yourself.
